In addition
to the 2007 National Tour Dates, Michael Gabriel is spreading
awareness about children in developing countries through
performances booked for this specific cause. He performs
and speaks about children in developing countries and the
message in his music.

Presentation
Outline
“Michael
Gabriel is first and foremost a musician (guitar/vocals)
who expresses all of who he is through his gift of music!
He has an amazing, quiet intensity that is captivating!”
Ellen
Davis: Music Teacher @ Glen Stewart Elementary School (P.E.I.)
His presentation (30- 45 minutes) involves:
- a
brief introduction
- the
singing of a few original songs (with discussion about
their meaning)
- speaking
about children in developing countries
- one
theme related song about children who take on parental
roles at an early age
- a
5 minute DVD clip on the situation of children whose parents
have died of aids (suitable for grades 1 and up)
- his
experience as a musician
- a
short question and answer period

Organizing
a Booking
Each
booking and presentation is unique to the location and is
planned with the organizers of the event. School visits
have an emphasis on both:
1) The message of Michael’s music:
- Follow
your heart
- Be
a good person
- Never
give up
- Be
who you are
2) The
reality facing children and adults all over the world. Michael
performs an original song called: 7 Going On 24. (The
song was premiered with The Riverdale Community Choir in
2004 during a benefit for Africa in Toronto, Ontario)
Michael
Gabriel works with the World Vision Artist Associate Program.
A short DVD from World Vision is also an option.
